Well, I've seen people go online, and people go offline. But maybe not many knew how different one can be in real life and online. I'd have to admit that I, myself, am different from the one in real life when I'm online. Online, I may be loud, and cheerful, and maybe friendly and all. But in real life, I maybe the opposite. For one, I know I'm not loud. I'm quite quiet, and in a sense, no one notices me. I may be cheerful on some days, but not everyday.
I've had a friend who's completely different online and offline. Like my case, he's extremely quiet and dull, and maybe... o_o creepy in real life. But whenever I told people, 'Oh, I hate him, he's annoying.' and they'll go like, 'Errr... oookay... but he's quiet..' HAH! That's what they think. When online, you'd see how annoying he is. Stealing your default picture, and using it to mock you, annoy the crap out of you, and a stalker? Puh-lease. Now you'd see how free people are online than offline. They're able to express themselves more, and feel the freedom to do whatever they please.
Though, in some cases, some people who are happy online, may be the same in real life. For example, Inkeh! Yeahh.. :P I admire her for that. Being able to express herself in real life and online!
Overall, it's how people look at being online. For some, maybe they see the freedom in it. For me, all I see.. is more people who I get along well with. *grins*
