I've actually gathered and piled up a list of my online habits, ne? But mostly I might be relating MSN, and all.
These are my MSN habits. Well, call me strange for doing this as I have a weird sense of thinking, ne!
1) Usually online 24/7 EVEN if I'm not there
Well, this is because I feel like I want to catch everyone's message to me! I also don't want to miss an opportunity to talk to them. So, I usually reply back their messages when I see them! ..Unless that person went offline already. ^^;; Since I usually reply back when I AM here, I feel that I can be there for anyone when they need someone to talk to, ne!
2) Status is AWAY as always
Well, I have a habit to fall asleep at random times, even when I want to rest. And sometimes I forget I have MSN on since I don't always check my screen every 10 minutes! So I leave my status as away so that people would know that I'm away, though, at times when I'm not away.. well.. you can always nudge me to see if I respond!
3) Blocking someone is NEVER forever
Whenever someone pisses me off, I will either log off, appear offline, so simply block them! But whenever I block, I will always unblock after a few days, since I don't really keep much grudges when I feel its not worth my bother.
4) Display Pictures are ODDLY all males
Well, I guess I just like the idea of people taking me as a guy at the first glance, ne? Other than security reasons, I sort of feel better that way! Then again, I can always look at the guy's picture when I'm bored. :P But usually, the guy I put on my DP are USUALLY the guys I'm liking the most right now. XD;; (So when you see Ohchan, you know its Arashi time, ne?) But I also have a habit to put on photos that looks nice. (Damn Nino for all those lovely and kawaii pictures of him!)
5) Instant GAME and WEBCAM invites rejection
I usually reject these two invitations since I thought it wasn't good for my connection and how my computer was running. I'm not only running MSN, I'm running Firefox, Maxthon, Winamp, MMORPGs (window-sized) at times, or even just watching videos. Though, I DO accept when someone asks me nicely, and give me a good reason. :)
6) NUDGES & WINKS are a no-no
I disabled them because I might be doing something as... photo editting or blogging. And when the window pops up, well.. there goes my stuff! Plus I find it pretty annoying.
7) MSN name always contain name, status & song name or part of the lyrics OR the band name
:P This is a way to see how my net life goes. Status usually would be just a normal thing, but the names show what I've been doing! Since I'm now liking the idea of being mistakened as a guy, I use MAXX pretty much. Lyrics, and song name usually represents what song I'm addicted to, but usually this song is related to my mood and my current feelings. Band names.. usually means I'm very much addicted to that band at the moment. (Eg. Arashi in Kanji, or anything like 'God Tegoshi' or names of the members!)
8) My different nicknames represent a rank
I use MAXX usually when I meet new people, since I like the idea of being mistakened as a guy. But sooner or later, I ask them to call me by different names such as Kaoru, Rei, Erix, etc. Kaoru as a primary name, and Rei being my secondary, depending on how close or how much I like you. XD;; If I don't like you THAT much, well.. be sure to call me by Erix. Kaoru is simply meaning I just like you. Rei and Maxx are simply friends. Other names such as Riida, Ohchan, KaoCHO or Kao-Chan, simply means I LIKE YOU MORE THAN THE REST! XD;; But of course, you need MY permission to use it. Or you can find yourself on my ignore list like Zushi. :P Though people I like the most, I usually give them a range of names. ^^ (So people who I asked to call me Kao-Chan or KaoCHO, you're LOVEDED by me. *HATTO*)
9) You know when I HEART YOU when I don't ignore you
If I ignore you, (a) I'm mad at you, (b) I'm away/busy or.. (c) I simply don't like you as much. :P Well, I can definitely look at Zushi and Dan at this point!
10) Never *IM people (Instant Message)
That's my main rule. I never IM people unless I feel like its something that I know I GOT to do or its important. :) THOUGH, I do IM when I feel creepily cheerful, ne? But if you noticed, I NEVER IM people because, I honestly feel like I'm disturbing them and being a pest! And also I don't know if you're busy or what.. Some people tend to put their status to online even when they're busy. So I don't want to be rude and an annoyance, so I tend to be quiet! So, if I don't IM you, then just IM me, since you know I would be waiting for anyone's message.
11) 'Haha', 'Lol', 'XD;;', '^^' Mainly?
Well, that JUST means I have no comment or nothing to say about that! If I'm busy, I would usually tell people. But if its this, well.. maybe I have no mood. :)
12) Links are what I dislike the most
No.. I'm joking. XD;; Kinda. I kinda hate it when people post them. Sometimes when I accidentally click it, IE comes on, and it lags my computer a lot! Then again, I've very lazy, so I don't look into it without a good reason.
Okay, that's all the MSN habits I have. :) But I have MORE ONLINE habits!
1) Why BLOG?
I find that blogging is a way to express your thoughts and feelings. Though, it may not be private, but I find it the best way for me to express my feelings. If I feel that I can't say it to your face, I post it on, since I don't want to encounter much questions just yet. I read my friends' blogs since they sometimes do the same. Plus I can get some info of their life, ne? Because I'm a bit ignorant at times, and I don't ask them how life is going that much.
2) With those many games
Well, if you looked at my desktop. Yes, I have 9 MMORPGs installed, but why don't I ever play them? I usually play during my break or holidays. I keep a lot since I like to rotate them, and every one of them has something unique. :P If I like having many skills, I can use play DOMO. If I want a place to emo at, I can go to SRO or RFO, etc. Then again, why I rotate, is because I won't be able to get addicted to one game. So, if I played Fiesta, I move to SRO the next day. I'll forget about Fiesta then!
3) Download too much?
I agree. Waiting for one download to finish, and start another is a bother, ne? But I find it a good way to kill time other than playing games. Then again, I do this partly because I'm a data collector. ^^ I'd rather watch shows and videos instead of playing games. Then again, downloading makes it that I won't watch videos OR play games. I think time is being wasted if I don't download anything, so I can found downloading quite a lot of stuff, one after another. Plus, it's not like it'll be there forever ne! So better download them while I can! (And no, strangely, my laptop doesn't get smoked or burst into flames after months of downloading. :P We have a special bond. As long as I have Racer (Or Yuki) here with me, I'll be fine. XD;; Though, taking it away = days of being sick. Yup, that's me! I'll be a lifeless doll without Racer..
4) Only UPLOAD a number of stuff at a time
I don't usually connect my mobile or whatever to my Racer when I want to upload less than 20 photos onto Racer. So I usually wait for a HUGE numbers of photos before I upload them onto my Racer. ^^ Same goes for scanning drawings and all those. :) Also uploading them online.
I can't think of any for now. XD;; So.. look forward to an updated one!?
